Hyderabad: The city Mayor of Hyderabad, Bonthu Rammohan tried positive for Covid-19 on Sunday in the wake of experiencing a fast antigen test on Saturday. He didn’t have any side effects of the illness. His relatives have tried negative.
Rammohan has been placed in self-isolation for 17 days. Since he is asymptomatic, specialists said they would not test his essential and auxiliary contacts.
Rammohan cleared two past tests. It was not satisfactory why the third test was performed on the civic chairman and his family.
Subsequent to declaring the test outcome, Rammohan told the media that he was feeling sound and that he would go into self-seclusion. In the wake of finishing home isolate, he will experience the test again and give plasma in the wake of getting a doctor’s approval, he said.
The city mayor said a unique camp would be sorted out at Telangana Bhavan, the TRS base camp, for recuperated Covid-19 patients to give plasma.
While in segregation, Rammohan is looking into the advancement of various works being executed by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) through video conference. He said since downpours have been lashing the city, he had guided authorities to escalate against larval and misting activities to control the mosquito threat and to take up measures to contain the spread of occasional infections.
